Consultancy Assignment: MICS Consultant to evaluate child-related surveys in the Geneva CEE/CIS Regional Office, Switzerland

If you are a passionate and committed professional and want to make a lasting difference for children, the world's leading children's rights organization would like to hear from you.

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a MICS Consultant to review the surveys in the European Union that collect information on children, young people and families in order to compare the conceptual frameworks and methodological approaches taken in those surveys with the ones of MICS.

Purpose:

Qualification:

• At least a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Demography, Statistics, Epidemiology, or other related technical field with significant experience with surveys
• At least 8 years of experience in use, design, coordination and/or management of quantitative household surveys.
• Very good knowledge of the methodology and tools of surveys in the EU.
• Familiarity with MICS/DHS type surveys.
• Analytical, methodical and precise style of writing.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
