Job Description: The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director and the Assistant Program Manager to implement the strategic goals of the Board of Directors. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning, funding, implementation, monitoring and reporting on projects which benefit children without parents in the Mae Sot region.

Major responsibilities:
• Implement, monitor and report on existing R2G programs
• Investigate and evaluate community needs, design new programs to respond to those needs, secure funding for programs, manage program implementation, monitor programs, produce program reports for funders
• Participate in regular coordination and information sharing meetings with all staff
• Enter monthly accounting data and compile quarterly and annual financial reports as well as program specific financial reports to funders when required
• Complete monthly activity reports to the Board of Directors as well as program –specific reports to funders when required
• Provide training and professional development to local staff on an ongoing basis
• Regularly provide content to the R2G website, blog and Facebook pages
• Investigate and secure new sources of funding for programs and liaise with existing funders.

Skills & Qualifications
Any candidate who can demonstrate an ability to carry out the above responsibilities will be considered for the position, regardless of formal education levels. The following qualifications are highly desirable:
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both speaking and writing
• Experience with accounting
• Problem solving and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently under little supervision
• Initiative
• Responsibility and commitment
• Flexibility and ability to work in a changing environment
